METHODOLOGY
Our teachers hold the "Diploma of Teaching
Spanish as a Foreign Language" extended by the University
of Buenos Aires.
We do not believe a "one size fits all" teaching method
since each of us learn in our own particular way. Once we have
assessed this, we will teach you in the manner most amenable to
your success. This is why understanding your profile is important.
We can design different teaching approaches. But, certainly, we
believe that when teaching a language such as Spanish you cannot
avoid the explanation of specific rules: Grammar. Knowing the
rules of the game, you will be able to play the game and to create
new strategies to play it on your own. We want your language skills
to flourish in class so you can solve new communicative situations
outside of the classroom. This is our commitment: to provide you
with the grammatical tools to build your own expression.
LEARNING MATERIAL
Students will work with material prepared ad
hoc for them.
We also emphasize the use of live material: TV and radio programs,
newspapers and magazines, advertising material delivered on the
street, etc.
We have a complete library with grammar references and dictionaries
that can be borrowed at any time to be consulted.
SYLLABUS and INTERNAL TEST
Every course follows a specific syllabus that
deals with the four skills: Oral expression, oral comprehension,
written expression and written comprehension. In every case we
will need to know why you want to study the language and what
are your main goals. In this way, 1 or 2 of the skills will be
emphasized or the 4 of them, depending on your different needs.
Periodically, internal test will be taken to determine what skills
need to be reinforced. At the end of each level an exam will also
be given.
CERTIFICATES
We certify the amount of hours you have taken,
the level you have achieved and your general performance upon
request.
